smx here I come!

I’l be in New York this week

I am heading to New York tomorrow morning (6 a.m. flight grrrrrrrr) for SMX. I am planning a trip to my favorite restraurant in the City, Joe’s Shanghai in Chinatown. It is a total dive, but the food is awesome and there is always a line. I am a HUGE fan of the soup dumplings and have a special shrimp dish I order that is not on the menu. 21% of My Traffic Comes From Twitter

First off let me say that this blog has very low traffic. It’s not something I spend a lot of time on. Tedmurphy.org isn’t SEO’d (tumblr sucks for that btw), I don’t create a ton of compelling content and I don’t actively market it. Still, I have to say I was suprised to see that Twitter drives more traffic than google to my blog.

What percentage of traffic does Twitter drive to your blog?

Another quick note… traffic to my site has doubled since I updated the design.

Calling All Mommies

Last night on my way back to Olrando a waiter spilled an entire beer on me, my phone, my computer, my wallet and on/in my brand new laptop bag. It wasn’t pretty. I am not sure what type of beer it was, but the smell of hops is overpowering and my bag reeks. I don’t think I can put it in the washer, so I am clueless as to how I should get rid of the smell. Any ideas?
